The black garlic is made from fresh garlic (Allium sativum L.) through a natural fermentation process that combines temperature and humidity controlled for more than forty days in which no additives or preservatives are added.

It doesn’t have the strong distinctive flavour of fresh garlic. It has a sweet taste with rubbery texture and smell of liquorice, which makes it an attractive product for both therapeutic use and culinary.
